Mike Elliott received his Masters in Music Education degree from the University of Oregon and Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Boise State University. His teaching experience has included positions at Eastern Washington University, the University of Northern Colorado, Western Oregon State College, the Salem/Keizer School District in Salem, Oregon, and the West Valley and Central Valley School Districts in Spokane, Washington.

Mike is currently the Master Director of the Spirit of Spokane Chorus chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Under his direction, the Spirit of Spokane has won 5 consecutive Region 13 Championships. As Region 13 representatives, we have competed in 5 Sweet Adeline International Competitions.

In addition to directing women's barbershop, Mike also directs the Spokane Pages of Harmony men's chorus of the Barbershop Harmony Society.  The Pages of Harmony have won 4 Division V Championships and qualified for the Evergreen District Competition every year he has directed them.  Mike is in demand as a barbershop coach, clinician, and consultant throughout North America. Mike sings bass with the quartet IN Harmony.

Outside of barbershop, he has conducted numerous state and regional honor choirs and has served as a festival administrator and adjudicator for many choral festivals throughout the Western United States. Mike is currently in his 12th year as Director of the Choral Music Department at Central Valley High School.
